Hey, I’m Clark.

I am mid-to-late 30’s, born and raised in Utah’s suburbs and a little abroad.

Loves: play, ski, run, relax, talk, listen, watch, chat, art, fashion, hair, parent, draw, build, sculpt, improvise, laugh, chill, etc.

My resume looks something like this:

  • Twelve years of haircutting experience, specializing in custom masculine cuts and hairstyles.

  • Ten+ years of work in New York City, including four years at one of the most reputable barbershops in NYC and California as senior barber and barber manager and seven years as a senior stylist at the top rated Men’s Salon in NYC, and considered one of the world’s most exclusive men's haircut experiences.

  • I relocated back to Utah in 2020 while continuing to work in NYC monthly for 4 years while building my barbering business in Utah.

  • I own and operate a creative studio in Utah with my partner Michelle, offering private haircut appointments. I also offer house and office calls in the SLC area.

  • I have been featured in national and international publications and videos, worked with celebrities and pro athletes, models, artists, some of the biggest names in finance, and some of the most respected (at least my most respected) 'creatives' in the world.

I specialize in many hair types, lengths, and textures. Long scissor cuts, skin fades, and everything in between. I love modern and classic barbering and constantly study how to apply techniques to complement your needs.

I enjoy the process of co-creating with my clients, taking inspiration from the hairstyles we see in the world. Whether we’re prying it from a celebrity photo off the internet, or perhaps a zoomed photo you took of somebody’s fade you like from across the restaurant, or even your favorite headshot from work. Whatever the internet or the outside world has to inspire us, just show me what you need. I love to create/recreate and find a way to make it work for you.

I love meeting new clients, discussing their personal styles and goals, and working together to build a hairstyle to suit them. I do hour-long appointments, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. If you love an exclusive and personal experience w/ time and focus solely on you and your “look,” then we might be a great fit.
